VIDEO: Frederick burglars jump from window
News

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Video recorded by homeowners shows burglary suspects jumping out of a second-story window to flee a home in Frederick.

The burglary happened around 4:15 p.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of Cambria Court in Frederick, according to officials with the Frederick County Sheriff's office.

Owners of the new home had gone inside when they heard noise upstairs. Apparently, the noise came from burglars upstairs who discovered there were other people in the house.

As shown on video, at least one person recorded when the six suspects, approximately ages 15 to 18, dropped from a second-floor window and landed on the grass -- some of them clumsily -- in front of a first floor window.

Police described the six the following way:

1.Black male, seen wearing a bright blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.

2.White male, with brown hair, seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt over a bright colored shirt, bright red shoes and dark pants.

3.White male, with dark colored hair, seen wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, khaki pants, black socks and grey tennis shoes.

4.White male, seen wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and light colored tennis shoes.

5.White male, with dark hair, seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans rolled at the ankles, grey socks and black tennis shoes.

6.Black male. No further description available.

Police also released several photos from the video. One shows a shot of a suspect's face.

Anyone with information about the case or who can identify the suspects is asked to call Dfc. Richard Balsley at 301-600-7122.
