Md. Burger King Worker Slain In Apparent Robbery
FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) -- Police say a 32-year-old Jacinta Ayala was shot and killed Friday morning at a Burger King on East Patrick Street in an apparent robbery in Frederick. Her co-workers performed CPR, but they weren't able to save her.
Police say she was pronounced dead on the scene from an apparent gunshot wound shortly after 6 a.m. Friday.
Police say she had opened up the fast food restaurant and other workers found her inside. They performed CPR until police and emergency workers arrived there.
The restaurant remained closed due to the investigation.
