Wine and food lovers in Maryland can now combine their two favorite things by taking cooking classes at Linganore Wine Cellars. The vineyard will offer monthly cooking classes taught by Maryland chef and food writer, Chef Danielle Turner of www.CookingClarified.com. Classes will include a tour of Linganore Wine Cellars and a hands-on cooking class where students will learn to prepare recipes featuring local produce and Linganore wines. The first class will focus on Italian cuisine, followed by holiday-themed menus for November and December.

Classes will be held on the first Sunday of each month. Look for holiday-themed classes on Sunday, November 6, 2011 and Sunday, December 4, 2011.
